Automatic Control Far-Infrared Electrode Ovens
Purpose: Welding rods can absorb moisture during manufacturing, transportation, and storage, so they must be dried before use to remove moisture from the coating. Otherwise, the moisture in the coating decomposes during welding, releasing hydrogen that will remain in the metal surrounding the weld, causing cold cracks and weld quality issues. Furthermore, the welding rod drying oven can also serve as an insulated chamber for the dried rods.
When the welding rod drying oven is powered on, the heating element converts electrical energy into heat. The far-infrared radiation element then radiates a large amount of far-infrared light onto the welding rod. This radiant heat rapidly evaporates the moisture from the coating, effectively removing moisture and drying the rods.
Automatic program control ensures easy operation; temperature and time are clearly displayed; the stainless steel drawer is corrosion-resistant and extends operating time; the unit features an exceptionally long heat retention period, with a preheating time of approximately 20 hours, allowing for continuous operation; the independently mounted rear cover provides excellent heat retention and eliminates maintenance difficulties; far-infrared heating conserves energy; and an alarm function activates upon completion of drying and heat retention.
